Ireland Music Week

Ireland Music Week – An independent festival & music conference dedicated to showcasing the very best in new Irish music.

IMW is delighted to announce that it will be going ahead with the international facing showcase and conference for 2020. The showcase and conference will take place online across four days in October, with the music showcases taking place over three nights – Wednesday 7th, Thursday 8th and Friday 9th.

As with so many other events, in these COVID-19 times, IMW has adapted the event to suit current restrictions. In order to give 2020 applicants and showcasing artists the best possible opportunity to reach international music industry professionals, they’re taking the festival, including the showcases, online. With a stellar production company on board to film the artists, there will be gigs taking place in various virtual rooms with plenty of opportunity for fan interaction. Each act will perform three songs and will get to keep and use the recording for themselves down the line.

50 acts will have the chance to play and take part in this internationally-recognised event showcasing Ireland’s best emerging talent. For artists of all levels, the online conference at the festival will give them a chance to learn and develop their craft and create new opportunities with agents, labels, bookers, music supervisors and services from all over the world. The online conference will continue to include dedicated B2B elements to facilitate the needs of the newly formed AIM Ireland, along with panels, workshops and one to one meetings for the artists with international professionals.
