A Câmara Municipal de Aljustrel vai comemorar, a 4 de dezembro, o Dia de Santa Bárbara, padroeira dos mineiros, e, no mesmo dia, assinalar o 2.º ano de atividade do Parque Mineiro de Aljustrel.

 

Conferências, uma exposição e uma visita aberta a esta infraestrutura municipal marcam estas celebrações, sendo que as iniciativas vão decorrer no Centro de Receção e Interpretação do Parque Mineiro de Aljustrel (CRIPMA).

 

Pelas 09:30 horas acontecerá, assim, a sessão de abertura, pelo presidente da Câmara Municipal de Aljustrel, Fernando Ruas, seguindo-se a conferência “Rede de Percursos da Faixa Piritosa Ibérica”, com Isabel Benedito, da Esdime, e a inauguração da exposição de fotografia “Monocromias da Mina de Aljustrel”, da autoria de Luís Matias.

 

Às 11:30 horas decorrerá a conferência “Matérias Primas Críticas – A Visão dos Serviços Geológicos”, que contará com a presença de Daniel Oliveira, do Laboratório Nacional de Energia e Geologia (LNEG) e vice-coordenador da National Geological Surveys Organisations of Europe.

 

À tarde, a partir das 14:30 horas, encontra-se agendada uma visita aberta ao Parque Mineiro de Aljustrel (limitada às primeiras 50 inscrições).

O Município de Aljustrel irá ainda associar-se às comemorações de Santa Bárbara que estão a ser organizadas, em parceria, com a Junta de Freguesia de Aljustrel.

 

 

Municipality of Aljustrel Celebrates Saint Barbara’S Day and The 2ND Anniversary of the Aljustrel Mining Park 

Aljustrel will celebrate Saint Barbara’s Day, the patron saint of miners, on December 4th, and, on the same day, mark the 2nd year of activity for the Aljustrel Mining Park.

Conferences, an exhibition, and an open visit to this municipal facility will highlight the celebrations, with the initiatives taking place at the Reception and Interpretation Center of the Aljustrel Mining Park (CRIPMA).

At 9:30 AM, the opening session will take place, led by the Mayor of Aljustrel, Fernando Ruas, followed by the conference “Network of Routes in the Iberian Pyrite Belt,” with Isabel Benedito from Esdime, and the inauguration of the photography exhibition “Monochromes of the Aljustrel Mine,” authored by Luís Matias.

At 11:30 AM, the conference “Critical Raw Materials – The Vision of Geological Services” will be held, featuring Daniel Oliveira from the National Laboratory of Energy and Geology (LNEG) and Vice-Coordinator of the National Geological Surveys Organisations of Europe.

In the afternoon, starting at 2:30 PM, an open visit to the Aljustrel Mining Park is scheduled (limited to the first 50 registrations).

The Municipality of Aljustrel will also join the Saint Barbara celebrations being organized in partnership with the Aljustrel Parish Council (Junta de Freguesia).
